I have to admit, this is one of my all time guilty pleasures! Since I've started watching the series (in mid 2007), I had to start at the beginning and watch them ALL from the first on. It is addicting as anything can be and by having it on DVD, it is so much easier to watch disc after disc without interuptions. It's easy to loose several hours watching the super sexy Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahan) and his "adventures"! The never ending chaos/drama of the "normal" family of Sean and Julia, now with the additions of Kimber as a true family member...well as true as anyone can be in this so entertaining series. I do feel however, season 5 doesn't quite keep you on the edge as series 3 and 4. Although social activities often prevent me from watching on FX, I haven't seen much of the new season titled Part 2 of Season 5? Don't know what's up with the title, but still eager for it to be available on DVD's! We all know it's TV and people don't live that way, but it is a great escape to, as Dr. Troy would put it, "Delusions of Grandeur"!Read full review
One of the best series released on FX - and it opens your eyes on the realism of plastic surgery, and the anterior motives of individuals who can afford the procedure...also, the doctors are always entertaining - and each episode is always shocking at some point leaving you wanting to continue watching and there for jeapordizing your natural sleep habits - I love it !!!

In the second episode, the new staff psychologist, Dr. Pendleton (Kevin Chamberlin), is getting an orientation of the facility. He passes out when he witnesses Sean repairing a woman’s breast implant pro bono after her abusive boyfriend had ruptured it. They do a consult with a man named Mr. Joel Brancato (Timothy Elwell) who wants to widen his penis. Sean doesn’t think they should do it, but Dr. Pendleton thinks it will give him confidence (he’s already had five procedures previously.) Christian asks Dr. Pendleton for advice about his obsession with Julia, and he recommends making a decision about what he is going to do with her so he can once again have a normal erection. After Christian and Sean do the surgery on Mr. Brancato, Sean fires Dr. Pendleton because he thinks the man doesn’t seem to have any better scruples than Christian. Meanwhile, Christian and Sean do a consult with twin sisters Mandi (Caitlin Dahl) and Randi (Melinda Dahl) Dante, who are there because they want to look differently from each other. Sean suggests that they speak with Dr. Pendleton (he hadn’t yet been fired at this point), but Christian tells Sean that they already have a letter from another psychologist named Grace Santiago (Valerie Cruz) that says she recommends the surgery. Sean later meets with Grace over lunch to find out why she made the recommendation. She says that ever since they both lost their virginity to the same older man, they have been struggling to find their own identity. Sean and Christian agree to operate on the twins. After the surgery, the twins decide that they want to go back to the way they were because a male nurse didn’t pay attention to Mandi, making her think that she was now uglier than Randi. In other parts of the clinic, Sean offers her to double the salary of her lesbian anesthesiologist Liz Winters (Roma Maffia) and give benefits to her partner Jan if she will stay (she was is the room when Silvio was killed in the first episode and had Escobar’s gun in her face, so she wasn’t too hip on staying.) Liz agrees, but says the benefits weren’t necessary, since she broke up with Jan. This turns some wheels in Sean’s head, and he decides to leave Julia for a little while. Julia is trying to start a gift basket business with her friend Suzanne (Noa Tishby), and she thinks Sean’s decision to leave for a little while is really abandoning his family. Julia doesn’t really have the heart for the gift baskets, and she disgusts Suzanne after a plumber (Sal Landi) discovers that Frisky is the one clogging up the toilet. Julia tells Christian that Sean has moved out, and Christian invites Julia to his place later that night. They both think that they might be finally living out their unresolved feelings for each other. Christian had been seeing Julia’s face lately in the women he was intimate with, but before Julia comes over, he suddenly gets an attack of conscience. He decides to drive her back to Sean in the only way he can. Julia comes over that night, champagne in hand, to discover Christian in bed with Mandi and Randi.Read full review
Oh my goodness! What an exciting turn to the new 1st season of hollywood in Nip Tuck. I couldnt believe how much was going on in each episode. It will surely keep you at the edge of your seat wanting to start the next episode. The ending episodes were unreal! Absolutely great. I never would have expected to see what happened in the last episode. It defenitely makes you want to see the new episodes coming out afterwards. Nip Tuck just keeps getting better and better. Even putting an abnormal person in the mixture of all was a very big turn and good to see. Even throwing a new family member in there....never would have seen that coming either. But the thing that is so wonderful is it shows things that really happen in everyday life. Yes every life is different but that is what makes it unique. It shows anything and everything that could possibly happen and looks absolutely real. Not like a lot of shows. I will deffinetly be getting the next that comes out. I cant wait to see what wonderful and exciting things come out on the next.Read full review
I Love this Show. I only saw Season six, so I was advised to go back and watch the previous episodes. So I did that very thing. I received the Dvd quickly, and was very satisfied with the product, and am a pleased customer. There is nothing that I dislike about this purchase. What I do not like is to be told how many letters or characters I Must include in my review. This purchase is pretty cut and dry. I am a single mother who takes night classes in school, so being demanded to leave a review with a set of criteria, is not very appropriate or smart from a business point on your part.If I am ever given instructions on how to give a follow-up review on previously purchased items and given any instructions on how to do this, I will never leave another review, which , not only hurts you but can not be good for customer realtions, as well.
