Bought this as a replacement for the unit I've had for exactly 6 years. Woke up one morning to a blown power supply. Nortek/Niles does not offer repair services (at ANY price) so I'm relegated to finding an electronics repair service on my own. They were nice enough to provide schematics so it's possible I will tackle the issue myself... But I needed a working unit asap; hence, the purchase of a brand new unit. If I get the old one working I'll keep it as a backup; expecting this new one to blow in 6 years. We'll see.

This is an exceptional device that gives you control over multiple zones in your home while powering individual speaker sets. Four channels are powered and you have two additional channels that can easily be used to power zones five and six using a small two channel amplifier.
