Awesome Phone
After 3 years with a Galaxy Note2, I was overdue for an upgrade. After much research and wanting to take a different direction from the Galaxy family, it came down to the iPhone 6 Plus and the Nexus 6. I am extremely happy with my choice. The Nexus 6 is an awesome device. Super fast processor, great camera, amazing 6 inch 1080p screen with incredible resolution, stereo quality speakers on the front of the device, great call quality and the device encryption is a nice bonus for privacy. For less than half the cost of an iPhone, I feel that I couldn't possibly be twice as happy if I went the other direction. Repetitive Lag
Switching from Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to this has been very trying. I use phones for work and rely heavily on text messaging. Typing on this device is next to impossible. I have contacted Google and gone through everything that Project Fi Technical Dept. Has instructed on numerous occasions and watched instructional videos on clearing the Cache and other suggestions from YouTube and within a very short time it's right back to lagging. Another issue is Text/SMS delays that are crippling my pocket book because of missed work orders. I thought that I would have a worse phone than the 1st or 2nd generation IPhone but this Motorola has that dubious honor. Way to go Motorola !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Great Android is inside the Nexus 6
Androids are getting better but still lacking when compared to that other top OS. But if you love the Galaxy, and you have not tried a Nexus yet, it is probably a good idea to give it a try, especially because it is pure android, no invasive Samsung robots asking to have access to your facebook account, forcing you to download crap you don't want. I think Motorola (Google) is the best way to go, to experience it, if you like android OS. I have tested LG's, Samsungs, Alcatel, HTCs and none performed smoothly as the Nexus 6 (very similar to the Moto X 2nd Gen Pure). It may not be best looking device due to its massive size, but when it comes to performance, the N6 is a top contender in my opinion. I've had this phone for a little over 2 weeks, and absolutely love it. When I ordered, I was concerned the phone might be a little to big... but it is about the perfect size for my hands. Phone is plenty fast enough and call quality has been very good-excellent, and have had no issues w/ dropped calls, etc. Battery is kinda meh... I tend to play a lot of games on my phone during slow times, so I'm used to the battery getting drained pretty quickly... and this one does under these circumstances.. but this is to be expected and isn't a complaint. A great device, especially on Android 6.0!
I bought this phone to replace my Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 started to run a bit more slowly and its battery was dying much more quickly so I decided to upgrade to the next model up. I did like the size of the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 6 is quite a bit larger but I have gotten used to the larger device size and really like it. Nexus 6
I ordered the Nexus 6 for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it. It is definitely a phone to get use to because of the screen size but you'll do it with no problem. The battery seems to last.
