I purchased this as a Christmas gift and have learned the recipient has already used it multiple times, with plans to continue using it on a regular basis. It is very easy to operate, doesn't take up a lot of counter space when in use and easily fits into a kitchen cabinet for storage. A generous amount of popcorn is ready in a short amount of time. Great for those who are interested in natural, healthful snacks. No plastic/paper to dispose of and easy to control intake of salt/fat because the product is made fresh, according to user's taste. I might get one of these for myself sometime!

I was excited that Cuisinart had a air popper, as normally the quality of their products I find to be top-notch. However, this popcorn popper is really disappointing. So much of the unpopped kernels come flying out of the popper before they are done and make a big mess everywhere. I think the compact size of this unit is it's shortfall. Bottom line, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I first used Arrowhead organic popcorn which did not work. Many kernels were thorn out of the popper unpopped. From re-reading the reviews, I decided the kernels were too small so I bought some Pop-Secret kernels. Have used them once and they worked better. Have been just making 1/4 cup at a time and am thinking 1/2 cup may result in fewer kernels being blown out at the beginning. Think the popper is fine; just need to adjust my use.

This is the worst popcorn maker I have ever had. When the popcorn starts popping, the corn goes everywhere except in the bowl. I have a huge bowl underneath, but it still goes everywhere. I have been buying Cuisinart products for years and have to say this is the first time I have been disappointed. They had such good review so I gave one for Christmas. I used it at their home and I did see several seeds popped out at the beginning but stopped before the corn started to pop. I didn't add any butter because the family likes stuff healthy, but if I made it for me I'd melted butter on the top. Oh well, it did a good job popping, no seeds left in the chamber when it was done.
