This is a stunning piece of glass artistry. The details are simple and elegant and the colour is a wonderful, deep, candy shade of red. It's doesn't feel fragile, although as it's glass, should always be handled with care and there is a wonderful weight to the piece. I bought this as a gift for my wife to open on our wedding day and as a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast, she loved it. This was a cheaper alternative to the official glass rose produced by Waterford for the release of that film. Just a lovely piece of craftsmanship and a truly breathtaking piece to display.

I bought one of these for my wife on our "crystal" (15th) wedding anniversary. It didn't even make it from the box to the vase before one of the leaves broke off. While that one was out getting repaired, I bought a second one. This one actually made it into the vase, and then I bumped it, it tipped over, and shattered into pieces. These crystal roses are beautiful--hence the two stars--but they're too delicate and not worth the headache. They're top-heavy and extremely fragile. I suppose if all you're going to do is hold it all day (like a wedding bride or maids of honor), then it'll work (until the first glass of wine). If you plan to display it, you'll be disappointed. Kids, pets, earthquakes, maids... if anything disturbs it, it'll end up toppling over and break. I wish you better luck than I've had with these things; at this point I'd have been happy if it had made it to a display area!Read full review

Pretty flower, but kind of expensive. But I guess you pay for Waterford. Good gift for a 15th anniversary.

Yes, expect to replace one of two damaged in shipping. My housekeeper knows not to touch them. And what male should be allowed near them? But at least this kind man made an attempt!
