Replaced the PTO switch on a 20 year old Cub Cadet 2155 mower. The old PTO switch was not always returning to the off position because of internal wear so the motor would not turn over. The old switch wire connector at the rear of the switch was pulled off, the locking tabs of the old switch would not compress as when it was new for removal as they were brittle but snapped the prongs off with a small screwdriver allowing the switch to be pulled out of the dash panel. New switch snapped in place and the rear wire connector pushed back on the switch prongs. Make sure you disconnect the positive side of the battery before starting the replacement to avoid shorting out the electrical wiring.
