The saxophone is really good, but the reeds aren't very good. It was already chipped when I got a new one out. And it didn't come with a plastic cap for the reed, the cap is important because if you leave it on the mouthpiece, the reed will start to get moldy. Thanks to my band teacher, to tell me this, so I can avoid those problems. Overall it's a great saxophone.

I like the looks. I wish the diagram for the keys to play was easier to understand. Tone isn't as mellow as I would like but perhaps it is my playing.

Decent sound. But a little problem with the lower register and and some in the higher register. Normally the mouthpiece. On my last one, I ended up the getting another mouthpiece. Also shaved my other mouthpiece

Bought this for my 6th grade son who wanted to join band. It is definitely a great quality instrument. We are having 1 issue with it, it does not want to go together.

I had bought a Mendini Tenor sax about two years ago thinking it would be a good sub for when I had to take my Yamaha in to fix it. I was so impressed with the sound and key action that I have shelved my other horn and use that one. So now that I'm playing more alto I bought another Mendini. I have a soprano on order as well. * Very responsive in the lower register * Nice full tone throughout the notes * Nice clean altisimo register * In tune with itself - from note-to-note the pitches are very good.
