If you want a CHEAP, decent single DIN touchscreen... this is it. *****HERE IS A TIP FOR ANYONE THAT HAS STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS***** Absolutely NO need to buy the SWI-RC or any other control module to utilize your controls.... All the little blue box does is change the return voltage from your "key" wires coming out the back of your deck. How to save the $50 dollars.... Most stereos nowadays have either a 3.55mm plug in the rear of the deck or 3 or so wires labeled/ named "KEY 1" "KEY 2" "KEY GROUND" etc. So... if you have the 3.55mm input plug... it is most likely a T/R/S plug. Basically translates to "key1/key2/keyground." What you want to do is.... add different value resistors to each one of the control wires is all.... It actually is that simple... well.... I should mention you would want to aquire a wire diagram for your car OEM wire harness first so you know which wires your adding resistors to. lol. So, the Power Acoustik lets you program each different button you added a resistor to, to whatever option it has listed. The radio detects voltage changes on the "key" wires is how it determines if a button is being pressed. So that's that. I actually installed this on my 03 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic. I bought the SWI-RC... mucked around for about a month before I gave up on it and decided to literally spend only an hour with a multimeter and adding different resistors to each button. My setup works FLAWLESS! Other then that... Its actually cool. I also installed a rear view camera on a switch so I can see whats up behind me at the flip of a switch... To do that.... simply run 12v+ to one leg of a spst switch, the other will go to the purple wire on the harness (rear view camera switch). Also connected the DVD/Video wire to ANY ground.... this will ensure that you are able to play videos without having to have the parking brake on. Also ... when the rear view camera is activated.... the audio from whatever it is that you may be listening to will be muted/ greatly diminished but will be returned to previous state one the rear view camera is deactivated. ... EQ is "ok"... Nothing Special... Mirror casting actually is non existent... So don't be fooled by that... That is actually why I was so drawn to this unit... Touch screen is awesome.... works without a problem. Bluetooth works flawless. SD card works flawless. I don't listen to the radio (AM / FM) so cant tell you anything about the TA features... I actually have made calls through the stereo... lol. Crusin at 60+ and answer the handsfree call through the dash..... classic.... lol. I'd buy it again. I like it... All my friends hate the fact that they bought a boss or pioneer for few hundred and doesn't do half the stuff this one does... Also can't forget... output for amp... GOOD output for external monitor... works good! Gotta run an amp tho so plan on that!Read full review

I just got this yesterday. I have owned my truck for 28 years. So this really fit well in the single din slot. I have not hooked up the camera yet but all of the other functions work great. The touchscreen is very responsive and DVD playback is very good as well. The Bluetooth also worked great and no issues with the hollow sound you get with other systems. This is an awesome system for vehicles with space limitations with no compromise in features. So far I would highly recommend. Great sound quality all across the board.

very good featured aftermarket single din stereo with touch screen. my first one had an issue keeping the time correct. purchased second from another source, has worked great from the beginning. have owned it for about a month no issues. one thing I have found however, when using Blutooth to listen to music be sure to have the wifi feature turned off on your phone or device. only other issue is it doesn't have the greatest signal to noise ratio... meaning you'll have to turn the volume up more to listen if you drive with the windows down. overall I'm pleased with the stereo.
