Great add-on to T5740 Thin Client
This unit allows the use of a PCIe or PCI card (video, sound,network, ect) with the HP T574x thin client. Just received my module and very pleased and surprised to find it included not only the installed PCIe x4 riser but also a PCI riser. As I intend to use the thin client as a studio MIDI and Audio server, being able to install a older sound card is a major goal. I had planned to use this unit with a PCIe to PCI converter but I am very pleased to now be able to install my SB Audigy2 Z or YMF744 sound card directly! The expansion unit looks to be brand new, less the box. All accessory's included.
