I decided to buy this book on a recommendation from some co-workers. I was looking for things to do with my 6 month old who wasn't mobile yet. This book has fun suggestions...some were ideas that most parents do anyway, but the rest were creative uses of things we have in our homes that can be made into activities for babies. I actually wish I would have had this when he was younger, it appears there are some good activities for newborns to encourage muscle development. Overall I am happy with the book.
Excellent book for baby ideas. Fun to peruse and inviting to try. Love that the suggestions are practical, inexpensive and fun.

When I first brought my baby home, I was at a loss as to how to play with him. He just seemed to sit there all the time, eating or sleeping. This book had great ideas of how to engage him at the level he was at. Now he's graduated to the 3+ month activities, and we're having fun with them. Playing is so important to baby's development, and it's good to get a wide range of activity ideas.
As a new nanny for newborn twins, I found this book to be very helpful. Its filled with easy activities to keep little ones entertained. A great resource for parents or childcare providers.
