    Hard to install but works perfectly once it is in place

    I needed a switch to fix my mini mag and I was surprised to find one. I ordered one as soon as I saw it. Delivery was prompt and included instructions (++!). Once installed it works very well. Replacing the switch is somewhat difficult and the instructions referred to a tool which was not included in the package. The body of the light is a close fit for the switch. Trial and error got me to a point where I could insert the switch and use batteries to raise it up in the cylinder.

    Only half of what I needed.

    I guess this part was only half of what was needed. My old AA miniMag had an LED replacement in it. I dropped the flash and the LED stopped working. I foolishly threw away the old LED and the plastic parts, thinking the plastic parts were part of the LED setup. They weren't. New LED didn't come with plastic parts so I ordered this. No joy. Seems I'm still missing one of two plastic parts. Oh well.

    MagLite Mini Repair

    The switch is a repair for the Mini MagLite. It is a basic component that especially completes the lamp circuit. The instructions for the replacement should be read thoughly. Removing the old leaking AA batteries maybe the biggest challenge. Once they have been removed consider cleaning the battery chamber of and corrosion that might have built up. Using surgical type of gloves is help especial since the lamp should be free of any contamination.
