Most complaints through the years have been directed at the Organization segment of PSE. I have never used it, so I can't comment on the PSE-14 version re: Organization. But all through the years the Editing segment has been superb, and Version 14 is the best yet. For those who shoot RAW, Version 14 has the Adobe RAW program built right in. I moved up from Version 11, so I don't know if the versions between 11 and 14 contained Adobe RAW. There are also some great new features that I believe were brought over from the Photoshop program. This is a very much worthwhile investment. As to value, yes it's worth every penny. My problem is that right after buying it for nearly $80, some retailers began selling it for $50. Regarding complexity: It can be made easy or difficult to learn depending upon which level you choose to select. There are three levels, from Easy to Expert. The very sophisticated Expert level takes much time and patience to master, but the effort is very much worth while. A terrific program. Dan T.Read full review

I have used photoshop to edit photos for years. After trying other systems I can find nothing as easy and comfortable. The new edition is even better than the old.

I'm a new to Photoshop uses. That being said, I am familiar with photo editing software. I have been a PSP user for years but recently started using a Mac and of course this software is not compatible. I had no difficulties installing this software. I did make sure my Adobe Manager was current, which it was. I am currently watching tutorials and find that many of the components are similar, making the transition to Photoshop 14 fairly easy, or so I hope. I'm sure there will still be a learning curve. I'm a key stroke person and hope this part of the software is the same or I will have to re-educate my fingers. This is going to be a fun journey.

I have three machines and Adobe will let me use one copy on only two, so I bought a second copy. Like my first copy of PSE 14, and like all the other PSE's I've owned and used before it, it works like a dream and does almost everything I could want it to do. I haven't figured out how to mark a particular spot in a photo with an arrow or circle like my ancient copy of Photo Studio will do, but I like all the other features. I really like the Haze Removal tool in this one. What I don't like is the organizer. I also don't care for the idea it wants to organize my photos for me in a way of its own choosing. So far, I've been able to ignore this "feature". I have my own way of organizing my photos.
