Harmon Kardon has been making audio for many years. Since this deck came out, I've been watching it and reading reviews about this deck exclusively. I decided to go ahead and buy one based on the reviews. What a fantastic sound system! Currently am running a dual 15" sub system and 5 speakers to accommodate the surround sound! Impressive is an understatement! If you have neighbors, you might want to turn the subs down a bit as mine can feel the low frequencies this deck pushes!

It works great running my Xbox One, PlayStation 4, 4k TV, 3d Blu Ray, HD-DVD (yes HD-DVD) Blu Ray quality and movies are $1, 4K 3D Cable, The internet connecting to the AVR was great because you check if it needs a update it said yes and installed it right away. No downloading a ZIP drive and putting on a USB drive and upload at a certain time or you end up messing up the software update. Plus the two sub out puts was great for my 15" and my 12" but I had to use a cable for my 10" powered sub.. I have owned 7 Harman Kardons and this is the best one but it was close to the AVR 3600 if it wasn't for that stupid damn protect Mode. Out of all my AVR's. My 3600 is a brick which Im going to try and repair.

I previously had an HK AVR-7300 that fizzled out. I loved that receiver, and mourned its passing. I decided to go with the latest signature AVR-the 3700. I bought a factory refurbished unit, and wow!!!! Original packaging, and everything about it has exceeded all of my expectations. I used Component inputs on my old system. This one has a few older analog inputs, but I just switched all of my inputs to newer HDMI and eliminated the rats nest behind my receiver. Sound quality is as with most hight end Harmon Kardon units, spectacular. It's loaded with new web and Wi-Fi enabled features. I can stream Airplay content to it. I am just really really happy with this unit.

I have been a Harman Kardon fan for years. Since 1981, in fact. I purchased this unit to replace my well worn HK AVR 7300. This unit is easy to set up. Automatic speaker setup worked very well. I am still tweaking to suit my personal taste, but I imagine many will be completely happy with the automatic setup settings. I have Direct TV and use a Sony 70R520A for video display. I currently use a 5.1 setup. Klipsch towers and center speaker, CV 250w Sub. I compared this product to the other leading AV receivers, Denon,Onkyo, Yamaha. I enjoy the sound of the HK, the features and power. Of course price was a consideration, but this unit is well worth the money. I have the unit in a large room, so usable power was an important factor. So far I have only one feature I have not worked out yet. This is the zone 2 amp.I use this amp to power my deck sound system. I recommend this receiver to my friends.Read full review
The only problem is that this model does not have Bluetooth. But I should have read better
