Smooth out your reloading process.
Takes the Mark 3 to a new level of fun, especially if you also remove the magazine safety and the loaded chamber indicator, it makes a nice gun for steel challenge or rimfire 2-gun competition. Have purchased another on for my other Mark 3. Gives you the ability to slingshot the pistol without having to wrestle with the bolt stop. Installation was easy, even a 10-thumb guy like me had no problems installing. Works better than simply removing the spring and detent and reusing the factory bolt stop.Takes the Mark 3 to a new level of fun, especially if you also remove the magazine safety and the loaded chamber indicator, it makes a nice gun for steel challenge or rimfire 2-gun competition. Better than advertised.....
Not only does this bolt release allow you to slingshot the next round into the chamber, but it is also an EXTENDED release. So one part solves two problems. This means it is easier to depress quickly in competitions. They should advertise that is is an extended release.

Must have upgrade for the Ruger mark series.
This part allows you to slingshot the bolt. It is easy to install and has worked quite well. The bolt drops on an empty magazine on occasion, that's why I deducted a star.

Every 22/45 Should Have One
This is a must have for anyone who owns a Ruger 22/45. This allows you to pull and release the bolt just like every other pistol on the market. The Volquarsten release is also much higher quality than the stock release.
