I have 15 Stratocasters in my collection. I have some with Seymour Duncan pickups. Some with Toneriders, Tone Specific, Fat Pups, DiMarzio's, Frailin's, Dominger, Fender you name it I've probably got it or had it. I had a cheap build I wanted to do for a friend on an Ash body I torched. I ran across these pickups and thought I'd give them a try. I like Wilkinson's tremolos and those are well made so why not. For the price if they sucked I wouldn't be out much. I have to say I was a bit shocked when I received these. The quality is great. They looked great so I mounted them on my pickguard and hooked them up to my Obsidian Wire solderless harness which was a snap. Time to tune up and give these a try. Again...shocked. For a mere fraction of the price for all of the above pickups these sounded just as good and maybe even one louder. They can get clean. They sound well balanced and they can be anything from pretty to in your face. The lows mids and highs all seem to be very well balanced. In positions 3 and 4 these are hum canceling but out of those positions I did not find the hum I did get annoying and certainly not worse than any of the above with the exception of my Fender noiseless pickups of course. These pickups have to be one of the most well kept secrets out there. These are no frills in a few ways I don't care about. No fancy schmancy box. Wiring schematics you have to get off the site but they came well protected and individually wrapped. These pretty much make me feel foolish for every spending a lot of money on some of the other brands of pickups I've bought. I don't know how Wilkinson does it for this price but these are great pickups at any price and over the 50+ years I've been playing I have had them all. Don't be afraid to buy these. Don't be a big name snob and you'll be happy you made this choice!Read full review

Hot to trot - not what I think "metal" pups would be, but I get some very close to 50's and early 60's Fender(R) tones from them. For the price, for my skill level and age, these are a great fit.

It's hard to find better pickups and hardware anywhere near the prices of Wilkinson guitar parts. Of course the sky's the limit if one wants to go there. But even if you have plenty of money to spend, in my opinion it's well spent on Wilkinson guitar hardware and pickups. Extremely good value for money!

I purchased these pickups as a replacement for the stock pickups on my nephews Cort Strat-style guitar, one had a broken backing plate. After installing and adjusting them I was extremely impressed with the sound! No, these are not the greatest sounding pickups in the world, but for this price point? I don't think "amazing" is an exaggeration! A truly exceptional product for the price. They look good too!
