We use it in a vacation rental, and the ability to monitor and remotely open it and provide discrete codes for our guests were the big selling points. Installation and set-up was simple. Z wave locks are better if you have ring alarm
It is over priced. I bought it to sync it with my ring app, well it does lock and unlock through ring app but it doesn’t arm or disarm the ring alarm system. You still have to run for the ring lock pad. It makes you download a special Schlage app to work. I love the older version Z wave locks better. No app required if you have ring system and app. You can lock/unlock through the app and arm/disarm through the lock.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Replacement to the older model
I bought this one, replacing the previous model, only because it connected directly to the Wifi via Schlage Mobile App. I had some difficulty with the older model for it didnt connect to the smart hub, or compatible to the Google Assistant. Not to mention that it was noisy when opening or locking. This newer model replaced all of that and more. I gave it 4 stars only cause this one is a bit just as noisy as the first.
