This tool is excellent. I have used a couple other brands of oscillating tools and thought they were great, but this one is way better. Having the 2 cutting angles (3.4 and 5) is great for fast cuts or fine cuts. The unit has plenty of power and zips through wood. With the carbide blade it goes quickly through nails. The blade changing is easy, and there is no looking for a wrench to change the blade. There is a lever on the unit that does it all. I have not had a blade come loose on it yet, even with heavy use. There is a light that is nice when working in a dark spot. The cord is long and very flexible.

First time I used the tool was the sanding head. The pieces of loop hook sandpaper do not stick. I will never again buy a tool I have never tried off Ebay. I am stuck with a tool that doesn't work. To be fair, I don't know how the other functions work but if I need to buy another tool to do one of the functions that this tool should do then it is not of good value.

I have had good success with Rockwell tools. I have 2 of the 4.5" circular saws that I use frequently. I recently bought this oscillation tool in anticipation of having to cut wood in some tight places. I don't think oscillating tools are the best for most things but in some case they are the only tool that will do the job. In my case it was cutting off nails and wood in the eaves of an old house where there was no room for a hand saw or a sawsall. It was decent on the nails and worked great on the old hard 2x4s. It fits my small hands pretty well and has a light that is useful in the dark tight corners. My only beef is that the blades are expensive. It will take most any company's blade and has a good solid tool free blade changing system but a few blades will cost as much as the tool, and if you're working them hard they won't last long. There are no inexpensive blade alternatives that I know of.Read full review

Had a project. Had to install new flooring in a 30 year old house and had to 'undercut' the bottom trim pieces and drywall, etc. With a staircase, of course. And 5 door jams. The F80 Sonicrafter did the job. Also had to buy the aux. cutter kit just in case.

The F80 sonicrafter is a well built lightweight tool that can make any job go faster. With the speed and angle adjustments it allows the user more options to get their job or project completed faster. I love the blade locking system that is easy to use and very strong, and it keeps the blade very secure, and the F80 can accept universal blades. Just buy one and try it out for yourself, It's a great power tool.
