oem made in china? doesnt sound like original equiptment to me. cant recommend it, or talk about quality until it has been in use for a while.

Rv step motor
After troubleshooting I found this motor was defective, now the bad part. The controller circuit board that actually controls the motor operation had failed and did not allow the motor to shut off on each function, which in turned had destroyed the motor. After replacing the board my,steps function fine again. Always let the steps fully activate and stop priori to stepping on them or you put a big strain on all parts..After troubleshooting I found this motor was defective, now the bad part. Entry step motor replacement.
Motor works fine good price, plugged it in and it ran backwards so when I open the door if it retracted so I just reverse the red orange wires works fine just like it's supposed to.

Tested old motor , moved but did not lock steps into extended position or in retracted position. Installed new motor and it worked properly the first time! Hope it lasts 9 years like the original ! Thanks
