So someone gave me, literally begged me to take a Dell Latitude E5400 laptop off their hands. laptop and power supply. The only condition was I remove any personal information, data or whatever that was on it. That's the easy part, simple HD replacement. Now the power light kept blinking. I've seen this before, it is when the battery has been so completely discharged (even when shut down), that it cannot wake up. These things are "smart" and come become totally inoperable. I looked around and found this. Being wary of "clones" and cheap knockoffs, I can tell you now, this is the real deal. Received, replaced old one. Did not power up. Attached PSU and light was not blinking. Good sign. Booted up, BIOS date/time warning appeared (turns out later the RTC battery needed replacing also) and at 50%. Left it charge. This replacement is perfect, a 1:1 and at a really good price. If you have an old laptop hanging around and can't get it operate without a mains supply, go to this supplier. WPRead full review
