Less expensive but still on par with genuine LG batteries
Got these to prolong the life of an ancient LG VX5300 flip phone. As soon as I put one in I got a error saying something like 'use genuine battery' and the phone powered itself off. I solved this by dipping a Q-tip in alcohol until slightly damp and cleaning the battery connection pins. Everything worked fine after that. The first battery lasted a week or so before needing a charge, with the phone on the whole time and only a few calls made in that time. Hopefully all the batteries work this well. Old stock?
I was hoping it would last as long as my original battery did when it was new. It seems to last a bit longer than my nearly ten year old original battery does. When I received it it had zero charge. After a couple hours the phone said it was fully charged. For less than $5 this is still acceptable.

L Ion phone battery review
the battery works well in my phone and physically is a duplicate of the original battery. The 1100mAH rating is higher than the original, but its longevity between charges seems to be only as long as the original battery. I was hoping for more between charge life. However, overall it functions well and is an excellent buy.

I bought 2 batteries. Each battery when fully charged, lasts less than 2 hours of use. New battery usually holds 3 hour charge. The batteries that I replaced were as good as these.
