    Nice looking but be careful mounting this hood protector.

    Good quality but can be difficult to mount properly. It's hard to get the white anchors to sit in the slots of the hood protector without spinning. Also be very careful with the screws, washers and anchors because they don't supply extras. I lost one during the mounting process and thats very easy to do. The thing does look very good when mounted though. It follows the hood lines very well.

    Nissan Hood deflector

    This hood deflector was warped & bigger on 1 side than the other with scratches to boot, terrible QC didn't notice it until mounted on vehicle. The hardware that comes with it is useless. You will have to go to parts store & buy 6 nissan push fasteners for $10 that should gave been included. Do not recommend this product.

    Nissan Frontier OEM hood protector

    While I try to use aftermarket parts in certain applications due to how close they are to the OEM's. I chose the OEM hood protector due to it's fit and finish. Yes I could have saved $30. But after looking at several manufacturers I liked the appearance of the Nissan 999D5-XR000 hood protector. Pay close attention to the installation instructions and you will be happy with the results.

    Mounting gear is bad but looks great

    The mounting items this brings are horrible I had to go to Lowe’s and get better screws and drywall anchors to be able to get them in successfully. Other than that this is great looks great and works wonderful. I love how it makes my Frontier look.

    Cheap hardware

    The shield is very good quality.original Nissan parts...the hardware that comes with it is worthless.i just used self tapping panhead screws..the plastic inserts that came with shield are almost impossible to use unless you have 3 hands...
