This border looks great against a white wall.I had no trouble putting it up by myself over a seven foot by three foot staircase, even though I was on scoffolding. I followed the directions for soaking no more than 10 seconds and the glue wasn't runny, it gripped my primed walls very well. I'd recommend two people for a long wall. I just accordian folded the paper upside down, used clothes pins to hold the folds and dipped the whole thing into a five gallon pail. Let it soak for a few seconds then laid it on the wall, starting at the corner to match the pattern and then laying it out. i used a large sponge to press it against the wall and remove any air bubbles and made sure it looked good. Then I wiped it dry with a terry cloth towel and let it dry. It trimmed nicely when wet using a spackle knife as a guide and a sharp wallpaper knife.Read full review
