Easy to convert and now have clean burning long lasting fuel source.
Very easy to install-had generator running on propane in about an hour. Starts as easy as it does on gas-1 or 2 pulls. Components appear to be of good quality. Hands down best conversion kit for the 2000 on the market
I looked at several conversion kits to convert my EU2000i to propane. This unit costs a little more but is way better. It uses a high quality machined and perfectly fit adapter to easily fit on the carburetor. No cheep snorkel to disrupt airflow and reduce power. This kit mounts the regulator on the tank instead of in a vibrating generator. I like this feature. This kit also included a new ignition switch to install on top and new labels. You remove the old label after conversion and install the very professional replacement instruction label that is provided. There was included very clear instructions with lots of pictures to guide you through the process. You will need simple tools a small amount of mechanical experience. But not a whole lot. Just follow the simple instructions, if in doubt call them. Don't over tighten bolts. Use a step drill to drill through plastic and just drill till it's the right size works best. Great product; I haven't had to use them much, but when I did, they were very handy! I mostly camp in primitive horse camps, and every now and then some A/C is a wonderful thing. Only 2 things prevented me from giving them 5 stars. One was the way you have to add the oil. I'm going to buy a funnel with a bendable spout, I think, because the hole for the oil is straight sideways, and the directions say not to tip the generator to do so. Pretty awkward. Luckily you don't have to do that often. The other thing that would make them 100% would be an electric start. The pull start isn't really that difficult, but I don't seem to have the knack. It takes me quite a few tries. I'm sure it will get easier with time, however. A friend of mine started them right up, so I know it's operator error.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This modification kit contains parts etc. that I normallyI do this stiff from scratch. however, this kit was well worth the money. first, top quality parts all around. the instructions were excellent and very useful. Beautiful piece of kit
Amazing for the money. Yes buying a random switch and DIY wiring is cheaper but the ease of install is amazing and well worth the small investment. 5 minutes and done... The switch is nicely anodized aluminum with screw terminals, the bare wire leads are perfectly tinned and credit must be given for the decals that look just like they came from Honda. The small details make this way better than any DIY solution. I appreciate the engineering that went into this kit! Take this advice from an engineer...
