    Mavic aurait dû concevoir la roue libre de ses roues ainsi dès le début. À cause de la bague en nylon et de l'usure par frottement sur le moyeu, la roue libre prenait du jeu et repoussait le joint d'étanchéité, entraînant une perte d'huile et l'infiltration de poussière. Maintenant, le système semble de nouveau étanche, et avec le nouveau roulement à la place de la bague, il ne devrait plus y avoir de frottement et d'usure sur le hub. 100km depuis la modification, c'est fluide et silencieux.
