It is getting harder to find calling CD's, as everyone wants to put out a how-to DVD. Well, I can't listen to a DVD in my truck, which is where I have the most free time to practice. As far as a call/CD combo, this is a very good one and can be hard to find. The "Magic Mallard" combo is usually the offered combo with the CD, but the Double-Nasty is a much better call than the Magic Mallard. Oddly, I have been Dick hunting for years, but I have never bothered to learn to call, since most of my hunting buddies were already great meat callers by the time I started duck hunting. Several of them said they learned from an old Eli Haydel cassette tape on the Haydel Variable Tone Mallard call. Unfortunately, I can't find any Haydel calling instructional CDs. All they have is DVDs now. I think Buck's method is good, and I have progressed pretty quickly, but I think he spends much more time on foundations leading toward what would tend toward stage calling. From the Haydel and DC (Phil Robertson) YouTube videos I have found, they do seem to be more geared toward "meat calling". Buck seems to quickly roll through the basics and spends a lot of time on a Hi ball hail call in this CD. All in all it is a good value, and a good duck call.Read full review

Great tutorial, I also like the small electronic call replicator. Helps train the cadence when you are practicing. Getting a Buck Gardner call and the Hunting DVD was also a plus!

The smell of cigarette smoked was like a slap in the face when I opened the shipping package. The envelope smelled like an ashtry, and the product packaging smelled as if the smoker was blowing the fowl smoke directly on to them package.
