At first i was planning to buy a sena or cardo headset, but those are way more expensive and have too many bells and whistles, plus some cheaper models look really awkward. Im riding mostly alone so i dont know how good does the pairing with other headsets work. I like the battery life on this device, i can easily drive all day long without recharging it. Downside is that there is no way to tell how much juice it has left, so i always charge it before and after longer trips. When talking on phone, everyone says they hear me very clear. Better yet, they think that i'm sitting in a quiet room, while im actually driving on my motorcycle. Sound quality is not the best, but its ok. I'm pretty sure that on highway will audiophiles be more annoyed by wind and engine noise anyway. FM radio sounds sometimes choppy, but its not a problem for me, because i listen mostly the music on my phone. Buttons are easy to find with gloves on. Charging cable and headset share same socket, which is UC-E6 i think. It requires some strength to plug them in, and im always afraid that i break the socket at some point.Read full review

The unit works and hooks up as described. My complaint is the volume level. On a scale of 1-10 the volume level scores a low 1. I can barely hear music and calls while trying it out sitting in my living room. It's impossible to hear anything while riding at 55 mph, which is the reason that I want the BT-S2.

For under $40, you get a Scala Rider comparison with easy assembly! I almost paid $300 for a helmet with Bluetooth connected, but good thing I didn't. Easy to install into my Bilt Route open face helmet. Music has great sounds quality and volume, even at highway speeds. It is a great item if you want to try the functionality of a more advanced system without the upfront costs. I have not attempted to connect it to anything other than my phone and will update as soon as I do!

Quality of the headset is great, sound loud and clear. I can make phone calls up to 110kmh without any wind noise, and without the other person even realizing I'm riding. FM radio doesn't have that good of a reception, but it's still usable, and you can't really expect that much from such a small package and for that price. All in all - I highly recommend it.

Have used this for two decent rides listening to music, with earplugs fitted. Max volume is just enough, would be plenty without the plugs. Battery life seems decent, have only used for up to 4 hours continuously. Have not tried it as a communicator. Only issue is the unit cannot be unclipped from the helmet baseplate, looks to be screwed together but the manual says it can be unclipped. Will be buying another unit for my other helmet.
