Very durable and reliable phone. Mine has survived many drops. The battery life is excellent. Excellent basic phone for little money. Service is great also. Not many features but is easy to use. Camera is average. Be careful not to scratch the plastic over the lens to preserve the ability to take pictures. This phone does not take a sim card. It has bluetooth capabilities. If your looking for a reliable basic phone then this one is for you. Very happy with this phone.
I had this phone, but I needed more to a phone then what I had gotten. I had originally suspected it would be the same as the krazr and ordered it. I got mine and only had it for like 3 months. It was easy to text on but I had several issues with the keypad. The final straw was the drop on the pavement that wiped out the keyboard. No damage from dropping it, I just couldn't enter anything and the phone acted as if it was completely locked. i would have to enter a code, but it would not let me input. I think the camera was a 1.3 and it was good, but at night since it has no backlight i couldnt get good pictures with it. Shortly after I had mine, aunt and grandma got theirs. My aunt got a broken one, and it constantly echoes when she dcalls people and she has also tried the 228 programming to make static go away, and get better reception. My grandma has had little clouds in her screen. my grandma has since gottn an intensity, and my aunt, a smooth, and then a cosmosRead full review
I bought this phone about two and a half years ago from a local verizon dealer. I upgraded and gave the phone to my boyfriend who has had it since. This phone has been run over, thrown against walls, dropped from high distances, dropped in a bowl of melted chocolate, dropped in the snow, in puddles. You name it and it probably went through it. Just recently after it's abused life, it started having problems. When my boyfriend told me he wanted a new phone, I bought him a new W385. It is very durable, reliable and easy to use. The only one negative is that it isn't up to date with technology. If you want a phone to just text and talk, this is an AWESOME, DURABLE phone!
It served me well for 2 years and I prefer to get another one in the same model just because it is so easy to use. Battery has to be replaced after a while, but that is to be expected. Sometimes people have difficulty hearing me when I use the speakerphone, but not always. Buttons and navigation make perfect sense. I'd say it's a great little phone! Sturdy; stands up to drops and all very well.
I needed a replacement for my Verizon cell, a Motorola V325; the hinge became un-hinged (almost); it wouldn't stay up and I had to prop it up and it drove me crazy, soo.... I went to eBay and got a Moto W385 I LIKES... 1) Basic, conservative design, I'm not a teenager and don't need a text-messaging machine (though I do that sometimes), I need a phone which is my main communication device 2) It seems made to last for a while, of a durable plastic and maybe aluminum 3) Battery life: MUCH longer than the V325, it usually lasts for 3 days, the most I've had so far in my cell phone life experience 4) For a small or moderately small Moto it's weighty which to me indicates quality, heavier than my V325 I DON'T LIKES... 1) The display is not a bright as the V325; it's okay, but the 325 was very sharp and easy to read 2) The keypad: it's driving me a little nuts; the V325 I could do mostly by touch, not so with the W385; it's too easy to mis-dial if you don't watch it OVERALL BUYER STATE-OF-MIND I'm happy I got the Moto W385, it seems to be more durable than the V325 or the V60 I had, we shall see; hopefully Motorola is getting its corporate self together and go back to sitting on top of the cellular engineering design heap that it once was onRead full review
