I have placed the collar properly with the long probe to make sure it is in good contact with the neck of the dog . I have no idea if this is working properly since my dog keep barking , it is set on the maximum #9 and the unit does not seam to work at all .The lights are on when I move the unit around by hand I can hear a little bip that sound lie everything is in good shape . I dont like it since it does not do anything to the dog at all.

The 5 sec sound like a good idea but by then the dog is so excited the wont even notice the correction. Also the beep is not loud enough. It may work on smaller dogs we are using it on a Weimaraner without much success.
