Overall good experience! Nice filter wrench. When you receive this I think it's equivalent to a woman receiving a diamond ring in a proposal. Comes in a fancy box you open it bam it's like 4 carats looking right back at you! You smile and you are happy in the moment,but as time progresses the new wears off and even though the filter wrench doesn't change or fail you you know Everytime you use it you will be frustrated and have oil run down your arm and probably trip over the oil container

I bought one of the cheap silver tools first and all it did was skip. Just used this tool on my rav 4. I used a 1/2 drive ratchet with 27mm socket. It took quite a bit of force but the filter housing came loose. I would say you definitely want a quality tool like this if you plan on DIY oil changes on your toyota

The perfect tool for oil filter changes.
This Motivx filter cup wrench was a perfect fit for a 2009 RAV4 4-cylinder. I would not recommend trying to remove the filter housing without this wrench as damaging the filter housing is easy to do. It took seconds to remove the housing after using this Motivx wrench. It seems to be constructed well out of aluminum and should last for a long time if taken care of. The walls are thick and it doesn’t feel flimsy. The fit is snug with very little play. Oil filter changes are so easy now with this wrench. It’s a must have. Only Tool That Works
I used this to remove an oil filter on a 2017 4Runner Limited after bending a cheap model from a local auto parts store. The key is that you need the deeper depth and the slots on the Motiv tool to be able to loosen this type of filter cap. The package details/specifications for compatibility haven’t been updated for newer models of Toyotas but this one was the same. The quality on this tool is great. I twisted a ratchet extension without damaging the tool and was still able to remove the stubborn filter cap with a large adjustable wrench. I’ll purchase the exact size socket to fit over the nut on the Motiv and use a breakers bar next time. Good knowing that this is the very last filter remover I'll ever have to buy for the size filter it's designed for. So far I've got two different sizes and have no hesitation about buying more should I find the need to.Perfect fit. Motivx 64.3mm Oil Filter Wrench is equal to the one you can buy at Dealerships at over half the price and same high quality. After watching YouTube videos I did learn its better to also purchase a 24mm 6-point socket to turn this wrench, rather than use a 3/8 ratchet because if you previously had another oil change company change your oil (at an outrageous cost around $100) these guys sometimes have no concept of tolerances and they over tighten the filter housing and it may be further damaged when using just a 3/8 drive to take it off.Motivx 64.3mm Oil Filter Wrench is equal to the one you can buy at Dealerships at over half the price and same high quality.
