If you play heavy music, and need a pretty good wah to add color to your leads and solos, get this pedal ! It's a warmer sound wah that sounds great with overdrive/distortion, or clean. When on the clean channel it's not that bright, but it still cuts an has a nice sweep, but when you put on that overdrive, this pedal shines ! Also, it's a Morley, so you know its built like a tank ! The switchless feature on it is beyond cool, as soon as you press down on the pedal it turns on instantly, and as soon as you stop using it it turns off instantly, its like magic, but its not, its the optical sensor that does the work, but its awesome none the less.
The one I bought used used looked like it was hit by a truck. Multiple times... The description read in 'Great Shape' Apparently that was correct. This pedal is amazing in it's simplicity and performance. No pots to to go bad and scratchy, no on/off switch to deal with. Just step on it it and Wah to your hearts delight! Such a nice concept. " I don't always use a wah pedal, but when I do, I prefer the Steve Vai Bad Horsie wah by Morley."

Works as it should . Not the latest and greatest but it sounds great out of a 100 watt Marshall Amp. Unit is super clean with no damage. Don't believe the power supply is OEM but it works . Rock on!!

This was one of my best buys on ebay. Though I bought it used(well used), it still performed flawlessly. It's built like a brick...and it has no buttons or dials to confuse you or slow you down. You just put your foot on it and it works. Take your foot off of it and it shuts off! That easy. No noise or anything. Personally I like wedging some Quarters in- to get a CONSTANT throat-like sound. Slide the Quarters out, then youre back to the normal wah pedal. Cool sounds. I'd buy This, instead of another distortion pedal if youre looking for "wilder" distortion. Thanks. Oh yeah... mine came with a plug, (which helps). Even the wayHIGH priced wahwah's does NOT. So, check, 'cuz if you want plug power, you might have to buy one SEPERATELY!
I was looking for a Wah pedal that had a broad sweep and range. I wanted my crowd to know that I was playing a Wah pedal. Most wah's that I have owned have left me flat- out disappointed. Not this jewel. This Wah has a contour control that gives me the choice to add more of the effect or less. this gives me a lot of range to work with. And , the fact that it has quiet switching is a big plus when kicking it on and off. it is whisper quiet and when you remove your foot from the pedal it is off. And if you are a player who likes his music hard and heavy, this pedal is your holy grail. I think it blows away the competition. Afterall, it was designed by Steve vai. SImply the best Wah pedal on the market today.
