I bought this to replace the one that was in the house when we bought it. It leaked some and I don't know how long it was there. Once I found the right tool to disconnect the old hose (a 15mm crowsfoot socket, I believe, with lots of extensions. Nothing else would fit or work. My basin wrench would not grab it) installation was a BREEZE. It did take me awhile to figure out how to get the old hose off, but I've done the hard work for you (read above). I used a 15mm deep socket to put the new fitting on. You need no teflon tape or anything because there is a rubber gasket in the fitting. The quick connect hose fittings are great.

My original spray faucet was broken. It would not shut off. The replacement faucet looks somewhat to the original, but of course, with time, designs change. The new spray faucet works as designed and the best thing is that it shuts off when I let go of the trigger. If I can get another 10 years out of this sprayer, I will be happy. Also, I received a great price. Lastly, having a new sprayer looks great around the sink.

Make sure you need the sprayer that is part of the faucet, not the sprayer that sits separate. The screw-on attachment allows for a thicker width, it's the only difference really. I had the kind that sits separate to it doesn't sit flush, it's loose and moves around when I pull out the sprayer. I'll need to find an additional part now that I still need. My oversight lol.

This is the older style of the Moen side spray. We bought it to replace the older style spray that had broken. It was very convenient to twist off the top of this replacement and just screw on the old one (the handle had broke). This way we did not have to replace any of the hoses. We would have needed to replace the entire unit and hose if we purchased the newer model.

It is a good replacement sprayer like the ones sold in the stores but it is not the one pictured That is the old style and the one I was looking for. The connection on the spray head is in the middle. The connection that was sent had the connection at the bottom of the spray head and you had to convert the attachment to a snap in. The spray in the picture is not a snap in.
