Just received it recently, and have begun to utilize it. I think that it’s gonna work out well. I had a Milwaukee soft type backpack (with the hard bottom) it was very sturdy for many years, never failed, never even had the zippers fail at all. It was stolen with all of my other tools when some dirtbags stole my truck.

It is definitely big. The Packout attachment is awesome - you will use that feature more than you think. I bought this to replace the 15” Packout bag, but I find that I use both. The only thing I don’t like is to have a good place to store the backpack straps when I’m carrying it by the top handles - which is a lot. Overall this is a definite winner!

This had a bit more solid space for drills and other cordless tools than my Klein tradesman. The Klein was fine for hand tools and maybe one drill but felt packed with two drills and just five or six small tools, so I traded to this bag and the solid packout bottom allows for way more rigidity and space for power tools without loosing space for screwdrivers and wrenches. The side pockets are good cat halls for awkward pieces that may not fit inside the bag or are in use or a beverage and it snaps on to other organizers in the packout range giving even more space to carry small parts as well as tools. Exactly what I was looking for.

This backpack is really well engineered for bringing power and hand tools to the job site. It was just what we needed for our on-site installations (we are picture framers).

I’ve had 2 smaller backpacks, but this one gives me so much more access to the tools I use frequently. I love it!
