It has good space for hand and some power tools. The hard bottom helps for wear and stability getting tools out. The backpack part helps when needing to have tools up ladders or elevated platforms.

The quality of the backpack is excellent, that is; the construction, materials used and stitching, is solid. I only used it once, and even though it was packed it was comfortable. My poor rating is due to the interior design. As a carpenter i was hoping to be able to easily put a circular saw in. This I could not do. The way the space inside the pack is divided does not leave that much room for a larger object such as a saw. Also I would have included a strap or such on the side for at least a four foot level. It seems like the pack is more designed for electricians or plumbers. There are a number of pockets on the inside for various smaller tools. Honestly I am more inclined to just throw my stuff in and go. Since it doesn't really fit my needs I will probably try to sell it.

Surprisingly a lot bigger than what it looks but yet it is very compact. You can get a lot of mileage out of this bag. Also many different types of usage, that I think is what makes it awesome!

Kind of heavy empty, can hold considerable load. Could use a couple more non-tool pockets, otherwise heavy duty.

I got this bag for plein air painting after it was reviewed by another artist. I needed it to keep my tools dry on wet grass and I needed it to stay upright. It does those things perfectly and carries all my painting tools so I can easily reach them in the field. I am extremely pleased I made this purchase and the price was the best I found out there.
