I saw this at the FSU SLC and absolutely loved it. I had to get the blu-ray. If you like paris OR comedy OR Owen Wilson OR the 20's OR Hemingway and Fitzerald OR Picasso OR Cole Porter, GET THIS MOVIE. The way Hemingway and Dali's roles are portrayed are absoulutely hilarious. You can only assume that that's how they actually acted on a daily basis. Especially Hemingway. The theatre I was in was absolutely roaring with laughter at Hemingway. Another amazing Woody Allen film. Brilliant.
This is a delightfully engaging film that ropes the viewer in early and keeps him engaged in the interesting fantasy all the way through. The lesson we learn is that the golden age of anything is variable based on viewpoint. As an AARP member, I consider the golden age of rock 'n' roll to be 1955-1970. My kids likely view it quite differently! In this film, the golden age of Paris is in question.

This is a fun, nostalgic film with some laughs and is both educational and entertaining. But the real star of the movie is the City of Lights. If you can't get to Paris, this provides a lovely virtual visit.

I think this is Woody Allen's best movie and definitely a keeper. Much better than Annie Hall, which really hasn't stood the test of time. I am a fan of the better time travel movies and this one is up there since it really doesn't feature the looking back and reliving interesting times in Paris.
