Since the Chinese are the world leaders in bicycle production, I would expect it to function properly, and it does. It's a bit heavy, but it seems well made and it was easy to unpack and assemble. The seven-speed gears work reasonably well, but the Shimano derailleur is a bit inaccurate sometimes spontaneously selecting a different gear. It is annoying but not enough to justify a complaint. It's a pleasant ride on paved, level surfaces, but I think the lowest gear is not quite low enough to make steep hills easy. Overall, I think it's a good value.

Well designed and engineered.. Assembly instructions were rather useless, but I have assembled several bikes in the past.. I had no trouble until I had to adjust the derailleur. Not your fault, and a local bike shop made short work of it. The bike seems sturdy and just what I need for the type of riding I do (mostly short errands and light shopping). It can cruise at about 10mph on flat ground with little wind with minimal effort it's pretty good liking too.
