I love these beautiful cards. They are very accurate perhaps as clarification for a tarot reading and also on their own. They're a bit tall for my short hands so I trimmed off the borders which helped greatly. I think it made the cards even more beautiful. My photo shows my cards after trimming. I really recommend these.

I found this to be a great way to get insight into my spiritual path. I plan to continue to use these and learn more about the various ways it can be used for connecting to Spirit. Similar to using tarot, or the I Ching, this method resonates more with me than the other two, although I keep them all in my "Spiritual toolkit".

I chose this book because it is part of a set that goes with Medicine Cards. It deals with using animals to help guide your life. I have the cards and wanted a backup book to study. This book is a very good asset and there is nothing to dislike aboutit at all. It is full of information that will give the reader insight on each of the animals that the Medicine cards deal with. Native Americans used animals to study the ways of the earth and each other. Shaman for the tribes gave their people names for many of the animals according to the way each animal had personalities along the same line as that animal. Some Shaman were able to see inside the child and the name was given before he or she reached adulthood. Using the cards is a modern version of that Shamanistic ability. As I use the cards I can tell a great deal about a person. This book help me to choose the best name or reading that can be of help to me or anyone I read for. This is a very good book to get yourself acquainted with the animals and their personalities. I would suggest that everyone wishing to find the best path to live get a copy of this book and the cards.Read full review
Medicine cards are similar to Tarot cards or "I Ching". They can guide one or open ones eyes to how they look at life and life situations. Animals played a key role for American Indians not only for food and transportation but each had a significance for some aspect/value of life. Medicine men were guided by the animal signs. You can use Medicine cards in a number of ways, all clearly defined in the easy to follow book that accompanies the cards. I have used the Medicine cards for over 20 years and find them personally valuable abd often a well received gift.
