As soon as it established a connection with my WIFI it updated the maps and location. No longer have to "hook" it up to my computer to download maps like my old one. Gave me locations for camping, gas, and dump stations. Have not tried other features like the blue tooth and backup camera. Wish it came with the manual, but like a lot of stuff now you have to download it. It is easy to figure out, if you ever owned a GPS. The manual was got me to the features that I was not familiar with. It will be a great addition.

Initial update on computer was lengthy and difficult. Computer would not recognize the device. Even after update completed, some features such as Bluetooth do not work. Does route trips ok so far, gives options in most cases. But not very user friendly once you get off the main trip routing page. Hard to keep charged and only seems to charge well with 12-volt charger. Had to get something to replace my Rand McNally RV gps which died. This does not allow you to send a trip to the device from computer. At best, it's ok.

Have not taken it out on a long trip yet. Looks like it will be just fine. Bad part is suction cup on window separates form window, GPS is pretty heavy. Tech support is not very good. It can take several days to get it respond. And there is no way to talk to a live person. Their website is very frustrating. Try to register it and could not. Tech support told me to try a different computer.

Odd interface compared to previous Magellan GPS systems (I have 5 other 7" GPSs from Magellan). Guess they changed it just for the sake of change, because it now does not have an intuitive interface (and yes, I read the manual). Also takes several minutes to lock into a satellite, even after being locked in, then turned off (as in getting gas or going into a convenience store). The previous models stayed locked in under identical conditions. Also, it presented a message indicating it was unable to find the satellite, while giving turn instructions... turns out, there was a message (like a popup on a computer) that prevented the indicator from stating satellite connectivity. The only really good thing was that it is about 1/3 the cost of my previous Magellan units.

Only good for 1 year, after that you are on your own. No phone support, only email. No support for more then 1 year old, ie if not working can not send in to get fixed, even if you want to pay. Lifetime map is actually 3 years from date of manufacture. Many bugs in the unit I had, if you go on a new stretch of road not on the map the unit is lost and freezes. POIs really don't work. It wanted me to drive in circles a few times on a long distance trip. For the $65 asking here that is about what it is worth.
