Needless to say, you won't get the stability and performance of a chromatic rack tuner costing $100 or more from this handy little pocket tuner. It does tend to wander a bit in response to changing input levels, in some cases it gives a more stable reading on the octave harmonic than on the open string, and occasionally even appears to lock in a few cents higher than the actual pitch. For these reasons, I recommend this tuner to experienced musicians who know how to optimize their pureness of tone - but for a beginner, I think this tuner may be a little hard to use. On the whole, I gave it 5 stars due to the price-to-performance ratio. It does work and is very accurate; it just takes a little knowledge of basic sound technology to use it efficiently and with confidence. And for the price, it's a ridiculously GREAT deal. Throw one in the gig bag as a backup, and stick another on the workbench for adjusting bridge intonation - just make sure you can hear what you're doing for those times it appears to lock a little off proper pitch.Read full review

I'm disabled and don't have much money to live on, so I have to be careful on what I spend, I do know that I still have a passion for guitar, and use to think I could tune a guitar with out the tuner, and was very very close back in the days, but forgot things change as we get older, I came across these tuners on E-bay and for the price, they are just fine. You couldn't go better, I suppose I could have purchased a clip on, but they seem to distract me, and if I could afford an expensive on built into a pedal of some sort I would probably do that. You can't go wrong with the cort.

Could not tune my new guitar with this tuner. The needle was all over the place. Couldn't get even one string in tune. Every time I plucked the same string (without adjusting the string) I would get a different reading. Thought I must have bought a piece of junk guitar. Was about to box the guitar up to return it when I decided to try a different tuner first. I downloaded a free guitar tuner app onto my phone and guess what. I was able to tune the guitar perfectly in just a few minutes. Long story made short it was the tuner that was junk, not the guitar. Tuner is going in the trash!

This is a simple, yet highly accurate guitar tuner. It provides a quick, easy and accurate way to keep your instrument in tune. Admittedly, you do have to select the string you are tuning, but the meter display is quick and I fin this to be quite easy to use, Plus you have the option of using the built-in mic or an external one, so that tuning an acoustic or electric guitar is quite simplet At this price, it is something you should definitely consider to add to your guitar bag

With the myriad of GREAT electronic, easy to use, simple to understand tuners available on the market today starting with the SNARK, this CORT bites it. It really sucks. Pass it by.
