    Good gas mask filter, safe replacement for old asbestos filters.

    Good quality filter, it's a safe replacement for the soviet GP-5 gas mask filter, it's asbestos free and has no odors or anything, easy to breathe through and works with several different gas masks. Mine was dated 2000, however the seal had never been broken so I'm not sure about the shelf life of these filters. This filter also works with the U.S M40a1 gas mask.

    Safer Filter NO asbestos

    The FP-5 filter canister was developed for the MP-5, which replaced communist-era masks in Polish military service. The adoption of this NATO STANAG 4155 filter canister came within a few years of Poland's accession to the military alliance. Taken from gasmask fandom. These don't fit Soviet filters and are NoT normalised. P5 fit Soviet gost threads,but not these..unless you are lucky. They are great for other gas masks and although they are expired,they 'may' provide some protection against smoke and dust and chemical aerosol mists but maybe not biological agents. They are safer,but caution should be exercised if you intend on using any filter.     Very happy

    Very happy with the filter for my GP5 it’s dated production 2001 but came sealed so should still offer good protection. Extremely happy with the mask that was also included (polish MUA) which surprised me came as a size small so won’t fit me but I’ll give it to my mum as a just in case. Highly recommend this product and seller.

    Safe, lightweight and versatile

    Are you scared of asbestos and other carcinogens or just want a very solid and versatile filter? Then this filter is for you! The filter has low breathing resistance and is one of the safest option out there. and for those of you that have a soviet filter sock, the filter fits them like it was made for it. The filter is very sturdy and lightweight, you can't go wrong with buying this.

    the filter works fine and is a hudge step up in quality and saftey from my GP-5's filter i got it with. however for some reason they also sent another gas mask with it, so now i have 2 GP-5 gas masks. not that i am complaining or anything, just thought it was a little strange. good filter
