Replacement Gun for Lincoln SP130 wire welder
Like the gun better than the original. The actually gun , where you grip it is a bit longer and is an advantage over older model. Quality so far seems to equal that of original Lincoln. Only disappointment was that electrical plug did not match my welder although the advertisement said that it would replace the one on my Lincoln SP130. But even this was no big deal as it was a simple switch to flat plugs (cost about $.25 to change). Shipping was quick and compared to other company's I could not beat the price! Lincoln Replacement line
The handle alot bigger than expected although the flexible ball joint is not noticed much but, I'm sure it helps out. As you grow older after working with your hands the majority of your life and your own joints don't flex like they used to, it's kinda odd to get used to at first but, it works fine. Comes ready to use, just plug it in and go. These are definitely what most of the other reviews said they were! They are 100 times better than the one that was on my Pro Core 125! I got them in just a couple days too! I got it installed on the machine today, and it worked perfectly! My old gun was more wore out than the cable inself, but this unit is so much nicer! Im glad I went ahead and got it! I got this welder that someone had thrown in a dumpster, and I pulled it out and took it home! It needed a lot of TLC to get it going, but among cleaning it real good and replacing a few minor things like a switch and a new power cord, it just needed a new gun and cable and it's working like brand new!These are definitely what most of the other reviews said they were! cheepest one I found but every bit as good as the major name brand. I have been using it on my Esab 260 multitask with .035 wire set at 250 amp and have had no problem. I have run 20# wire so far only improvement I made was shorting the trigger it is 1 3/4 " long . I cut it down to 1" (just sniped it off) because I found it to long with my big fingers and gloves you wont find one any better for the pricecheepest one I found but every bit as good as the major name brand. Great gun. Built well!
This gun is built better then my Tweco Velocity 220 amp gun which came with my Tweco 211i 3 in 1. However it does not fit the machine. The two o-rings will not line up ( or are not far enough forward) with the gas inlet. Its off by 3 mm so the gas will leak out. So keep this in mind so you do not waste your time if you have a Esab / Tweco non euro connector.
