I personally love this movie and was tempted to rate it higher. I laughed out loud at Jamie Kennedy's portrayal of B-Rad-G, AKA Brad Gluckman, a rich boy from Malibu who wants to be a gangsta rapper. His father (Ryan O'Neal), believing Brad is just putting on an act and fearing Brad's clothes & language will hurt his political campaign, has Brad kidnapped by two black actors posing as Boys From The Hood. The idea is to scare the "black" out of Brad, but it turns out the actors know even less about the hood than Brad does. No matter what happens, Brad stays true to himself, eventually defeating a ganglord, earning his Dad's respect, and getting the girl. Yes, it's silly and could be considered racist. Spoofs, no matter how funny, never win Academy Awards and usually wind up offending someone. If you like your films serious and politically correct, avoid MALIBU'S MOST WANTED. But if you are able to laugh at yourself and the stereotypes surrounding your culture --- whether you are black, white, rich, or poor --- then give this film a chance. It gets across the very valid messages that you should not judge a book by its cover, and that if you want something badly enough you can achieve it even if you come from the "wrong" racial or economic background.Read full review
Funny, white Hip-Hopper who thnks he's black and comes from the "ghetto" (Malibu), and he with his hip hop friends run into the girl of his dreams but never in his dreams did he think he'd be car-jacked (a ploy put on by his Politician father) and kidnapped. Or that the girl of his dreams would be the kiddnappers (who are paid actors, not hip at all!!!) friend. Hilariorty ensues when the "real G's" show up and take everyone hostage. They laugh at Jamie Kenndy's "real Ganster" act, and the chaos continues. Typical ending but still fun to watch. I give it a 4 out of 5!!! miss_slygirl
exactly what comedies should be, just silly antics with decent script and actors

This movie is my second most favorite movie ever. Whenever I'm in a down mood, all I have to do is watch this movie & I'm laughing again in no time. Jamie Kennedy is hilarious! Ryan O'Neal plays an outstanding part. Well, they all play great parts! Snoop Dog is the voice of a cool rat. Just too funny! Watch it & see for yourself.

this movie is more for the younger generation but it shows how a person can be more than they are perceived. the gentleman wants to be of a different nationality due to not being wanted in earlier life. this movie shows how he goes through changes and they don't work and when things are all over they find out that the person is exactly as they are showing everyone. this movie shows you how love and being wanted can make a change.
