I have several size/lube tools and the temp here in the winter is mild but a heater is necessary often. I usually put an in line on-off switch on it to easly control the heat while in use. So far my older ones have lasted for decades. A Good product at a fair price. Highly recomended.

Bought this in anticipation of switching to Lyman Orange Magic that requires heat so it will flow. I have a Lyman #45 lube/sizer that I used Alox with. Got the old Alox cleaned out using a heat gun to melt the old stuff and it did a good job. Went to install the heater to the base of my #45 and lo and behold, none of the heater pre-drilled holes line up to the #45. I wonder why Lyman omitted the #45 hole mounting pattern. As advertised, it seems to be able to be used on just about every lube sizer even by different manufacturers. So now I am stuck with a heater that is incompatible with my lube/sizer. Maybe i will try using a small hair dryer and position it to blow warm air at the sizer. I can regulate the heat with distance of the hair dryer from the sizer. Anybody got any other suggestions?Read full review

Seems to work well, easy to setup on reloading bench with existing holes even mounting the Lyman 45 lubri-sizer, had to use two mounting screws set at opposite corners going down through the press and aluminum plate, but this should not be a problem because I used large #12 x2” flat head wood screws down into my work bench and am not relying on the aluminum plate to secure the press. This takes a little while to heat up the sizer which is not a problem, just have to plug it in ahead of time about 15-20 min.before resizing your cast bullets and away you go.

I thought I might need to control the temp to some extent manually. It does a perfect job once the temp levels out. Well made and easily installs to the Lyman 450.

Mounts lubricator directly to the plate which also comes with mounting hardware for the two...will need to get some bolts to mount it to table. Once all assembled, just plug it in and chill for about 30 minutes. After that when you start running the bullets through, it's a simply process because the lube is at the right temperature to flow into the grooves...great product.
