I have a Genie screw drive garage door. I have tried a number of different lubes to quiet the noise but nothing worked. But this stuff is Amazing. After one application the noise was gone! Just buy it, you want be disappointed.

Good grease for garage door opener plastic gears.
This stuff was recommended for putting on plastic gears inside my garage door opener that had stripped out the original plastic gears and I had to replace them and use this grease so after 6 months still working after repair just fine.

Sometimes you just need a small amount of grease in a thin line. This tube is excellent for that and it doesn't take up much room it the tool box as well as not leaking or saturating out.

Great lube for garage door screw-drive openers
This is the best lubricant I've found for screw-drive garage door openers. I tried several spray lubricants that advertised they were designed to "lubricate all types of openers" -- with no success; the screw-drive just continued to rattle and roar each time we opened and closed our garage doors. This lithium-based grease works much better and longer for screw type drives.
