I did test with the sample pack and I believe I got the hang of the system. It would be cool if it had a dark slide to be able to change lenses in the middle of a back, but I understand that wasn’t possible with the required sensing distance needed for making this work properly.

I'm pleasantly surprised today that, thanks to the packaging, the back arrived in perfect condition despite a 20-day journey and my last carrier wasn't known for being very careful. Mechanically, everything works with the equipment supplied, easy to install. I haven't yet been able to test it with an Instax refill, but I'm confident that the result will be as expected.
