Great product for repeat function
Great product - took a little practice getting it working with the app. People may think it is not working every day but you have to remember to select repeat function and then daily. It was not that obvious in the app to do that. Once I did that everything works great and I put it on my outside garage lights. Great idea
I really like the idea & the convenience & quality of the product is good. However I have a one bedroom apt. & after installing 3 of the outlets & 4 of the switch plates I began to get ill. Not sure but I think it was too much added Wifi added with my existing devices in a small area. As soon as I removed some leaving 1 outlet & 3 switch plates I began to feel better. Maybe coincidence maybe not. Also the WiFi doesn’t work when away from home & loses connection quite a bit if Bluetooth is turned off. Good product but look forward to upgrades
I can't wait for this product to come with WiFi. For the moment though, this product works great when you're in range. I have mine in my garage for the outside lights, so it saves me the trip of having to go back downstairs if I forgot to turn them on at night, but I do wish the timer worked better. Again, I appreciate the simplicity of the product and can't wait for its next iteration! I will still be using this Switchmate even if that time comes to upgrade because it does the basic job you need it to and compared to other home automation products/prices, you can't beat it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Handy, but limited
It works as it should, but it's louder than I would like. Probably better suited for a garage or shop than the living room. It's important to know that it uses Bluetooth only, so you have to be within a certain range. I'm able to activate with my phone app from the driveway, but you want be able to operate through wifi away from the house. I believe this is an older model and is wider than the newer models, so you can't fit two next to each other on a switch plate with multiple switches. A simple way to automate your home.

Conveinence made easy.
I kid you not when I say install to but 1 second. The simple magnet connection attached right away to my light switch. After downloading the app setup was a breeze. Adding these 2 additional units cake walk. I wish it had access to control when not home but it does offer a 130foot blue tooth connection that I have been able to use as I pull up as long as my phone has location n bt enabled. There is a timer feature and a welcome home function which I'm still trying to get straight. Easy to manually use as well as the front button is responsive. With the 2 versions Availible it makes adding to Your home easy.

I love this gadget and use it to automatically turn on my garage lights and lamppost in the evening and then automatically shut them off.
