New, OEM, works great!
I purchased this after getting an aftermarket battery. I'll never by aftermarket batteries again. This OEM battery gives me around 10 hours of battery life on my X220 with normal web browsing and about 6 hours with heavy use (depending on the power profile of course). It will add some weight to be expected. You're trading light weight for longevity. If you need a high capacity, OEM battery this is the one. Quite Impressed
At first I was hesitant because the voltage was showing up as 7.3V which is way off course for a battery that is supposed to be nominally 11.1V but nevertheless after a good charge all the way back up to max it has since performed quite well. X230 i5 with Windows 10 gets about 7-8 hours right now with a light load of web browsing and document editing. Pretty stable battery that I think will last quite a while if maintained properly such as using threshold charging and proper storage if long term storage is in its future.
