This is a good press if you have the patience to do the fine tuning, I had an old one for years so I knew what to expect. I really like the fact that I could still use the old dies with the new press, the upgrade on this press has worked nice for me.

I purchased the pro 1000 as a backup to my Dillon progressive, so I could use my Dillon for rifle only. The pro 1000 is the hardest loader to adjust and use that I have ever used. I would not recommend one of these to anyone thats just starting out. I have loaded about 10 9mm on the press and will be putting it up for sale.

A little flimsy, cases do not always feed smoothly and will a miss die. I have started to work some of these issues to see if I can tighten it up. Over all, for the money it works as I okay. Not sure I would recommend it to someone that does not have patients, you need some mechanical skills to get everything working correctly.

The primer devise is not reliable and often fails to load a primer. That causes a potential serious problem when the powder is loaded in the case and gun powder falls out the bottom. Additionally all loads have to be checked before seating a projectile to prevent a squib load. I would rather prime and load one bullet at a time to ensure proper primer seating and ensuring a charge is present prior to seating a projectile.

good press but it will take a few days to get it working as it should. it must be clean with no power flakes at all on it to run. watch youtube for set up as the book is not clear. make sure you are in the right state of mind before set up or you will put it out to the curb. it will work with some time and trying.
