Reloading Must Have
I love these Lee Factory Crimp Dies. I now use them in all the calibers I reload and they do a great job. They have improved the overall quality of my reloads. I tend to reuse a lot of range brass and prior to using these dies I would occasionally get rounds that failed to chamber. With the factory crimp die I can adjust the crimp at the neck and give a final resize of the entire round. This has virtually eliminated chambering problems. I love these Lee Factory Crimp Dies. I now use them in all the calibers I reload and they do a great job. They have improved the overall quality of my reloads. I tend to reuse a lot of range brass and prior to using these dies I would occasionally get rounds that failed to chamber. With the factory crimp die I can adjust the crimp at the neck and give a final resize of the entire round. This has virtually eliminated chambering problems.

In case there are any of you out there that doesn't know it, Lee makes a very good product at a down to earth price. I've used the carbide crimp dies in various calibers with excellent results This particular die along with 9mm and 45 acp were purchased along with Lees' bulge buster kit. When used with the bulge buster kit and one of the above mentioned carbide dies with the crimp sleeve removed, the reloader is able to eliminate the bulge in the brass that is common in 9mm,40S&W, 45acp. This set up pushes the reloaded round up thru the die into a catch bottle,which makes quick work of removing the bulge in the brass.In case there are any of you out there that doesn't know it, Lee makes a very good product at a down to earth price. Solved my case bulge problem.
One of my 40 Cal. S&W pistols has an unsupported chamber which results often in fired cartridge bulge. I tried a major brand bump remover and it was very unsatisfactory and did not work consistently. I bought the Lee and put it in my press and the case bump is now gone from all of my fired cartridges.

Over time, I've learned never to seat and crimp lead bullets in one operation. This die allows me to return the case belling to where I want it WITHOUT shearing off small bits (or rings) of lead, that build up in the die. Even better, the carbide sizer ensures the bulges and wrinkles, if any, are smoothed back and the loaded round will pass the "plunk test" in even the tightest chamber.

This with the Lee Bulge Buster takes care of range brass. 1500 rounds in 5 hours. The cover which doubles as the post size shell bin needs a little chamfering to keep the shell casings from catching the edge and dumping your work. There is the taper crimp bushing which also needs to be removed from the die.
