I bought this motor after watching numerous videos of the Great Ball Contraption builds with my grandson. At 4 years old, he is already creating Lego rockets and robots. We are having great fun together, building simple motorized projects that I find online. He is learning to recognize different pieces, counting, and how to follow directions, as well as critical thinking. After we build the project according to instructions, I allow him to modify and accessorize to make it even more fun. In My Opinion.. Anything LEGO is Over-rated and way Overpriced. This particular set, although my kid is happy with it, spins too fast without any torque for anything other than making a Lego car or similar device.
