Great little machine. The only problem I am having is the filter holder doesn’t slide in and out of place very easily. Feels tight and I really have to exert firm pressure to remove after brewing coffee.

I am familiar for many years with this Krups model and I really like it. It is not easy to clean but no espresso machine is. Also it needs to be pointed that espresso machines do not need to be cleaned very often. You do not want to have a flavor of "Simple Green" or other cleanser in your coffee. This model does not have all fancy buttons and controls which more expensive espresso machines have, but they not necessary for making a good coffee. It works best with fine grounds but tolerates super fine or even slightly coarser grounds. The feature I like most and not all espresso machines have it that if you set your brew and for some reason get busy with other tasks and forget about it, including leaving the house for a few hours it does not burn your house down, blow circuit breakers, explodes, or even get damaged. Cheap, reliable, portable, and makes amazing espresso. This is everything you want in an espresso machine! It's pretty outdated compared to the other coffee machines from Krups, but it's the most durable and the most portable. When my family goes on vacation, we love to take that with us because we can have great espresso from the comfort of almost anywhere that we decide to stay. It's so compact that we can usually fit it inside a back pack which is great because we save a lot of weight and space! This machine is also the fastest and the most powerful compared to those other 300 dollar machines from Breville that claim to have over 15 bars of pressure and make great coffee. That may be true, but none of those machines make coffee as fast as this one. Overall, its THE BEST espresso machine I've had till this day :).Read full review
